  • Animation – worked in Los Angeles with Walter Lantz (Woody Woodpecker) and Hanna Barbera (Yogi Bear and Fred Flintstone) and in Canada on a variety of television commercials featuring Tony the Tiger, Snap, Crackle and Pop, and others

  • Founded and acted as President/Creative Director of his own corporate communications company in film, video, animation and audio-visual for 12 years; then sold the company to get back to the drawing board

  • Invented two toys sold successfully world-wide under licence – “Yawnies” and “Creative Imagineers” How to Draw kits

  • Wrote and co-hosted (with his creation, an animated pencil named H.B. Pencil) his own children’s “how to draw” television program called “The Creative Imagineers Club” which was broadcast for four years on YTV

  • Created “Life in the Laugh Lane”, a feature cartoon that he has drawn for the last seven years and which is published in The Ottawa Citizen every Saturday

  • Conducted more than 500 in-class “Draw Your Socks Off” cartooning and drawing elementary school classroom creative workshops

  • Created “Kids’ Creative Stuff’n Such” a children’s newspaper feature artwork showcase and creative arts teaching aid for students, parents, grand-parents and teachers which is currently published in a growing number of community newspapers with plans underway to syndicate throughout North America
     
  • Fall 2004 – Wrote and illustrated the Kids’ Creative Stuff’n Such How to Draw and Cartoon Workbook, published in joint venture with Osprey Media Group Inc
